Born and raised in the Space Coast of Florida, Sara has always had an interest in family law as her mother is also a family law attorney in Melbourne, Florida.  Sara Singer received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law.

Sara began her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in Broward County, Florida, where she practiced criminal defense at both the misdemeanor and felony level. After gaining significant trial experience, Sara transitioned into the private sector. Sara began working as an associate attorney at a prominent South Florida family law firm, Brydger & Porras. When the partners at Brydger & Porras retired, Sara took over the practice.

Accessibility is a driving force for Sara’s practice.  She encourages her clients and the community to ask her questions.  In 2021, Sara began using social media platforms – especially TikTok – as an information-sharing tool to share facts about family law and how they affect people within the State of Florida.  The Internet is full of misinformation which can make people feel like they have no power – Sara aims to correct that as much as possible and to empower individuals and families with accurate information.
